I keep smelling the front brakes a little even with mild braking. So, I figure if I'm replacing everything anyway, might as well do the TBU. I'm probably shooting for the 199 version ... It's more of a nice to have than a requirement. You are correct.. The SRT10 does not have front shields. It does however come from the factory with brake ducting which helps cool the brakes..
