Dauntless controller not working

WebToday I tried to play with it but it doesn't work. Even though the gamepad lightens up and is ready to be used I can't play with it in dauntless. I've tried restarting my pc and reinstalled the software for the gamepad but it doesn't work. The gamepad works with other games though so it's definitely not broken.
