Rise tried to make it into a fast paced action combo fighting game without changing the core mechanics that MH is built around, leading to a frustrating mess that is impossible to enjoy.

When i play Dauntless it feels like MHs loser little brother and when i play God Eater its just worse MH with Anime gimmick and tropee. But Wild Hearts is Wild Hearts. I would say wait until the performance is really fixed and maybe wait for 25~50% discount.

Things like traps, tracking, other flora and fauna, items, etc exist. Meanwhile for Dauntless, it is basically just the finding one monster and killing it. I don't remember seeing any other creatures on the floating maps.
WebDauntless isnt a bad game, but if you already have MH (and here i count even the older ones) why would you bother?
